CO-ED INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUES

Boys and Girls:  K - 1st Grade and 2nd - 3rd Grade Divisions

These leagues offer a fun introduction to the fundamentals of basketball and use 8 foot baskets.  The season starts in early November and ends in mid-March.  K-1 teams meet once a week on Sunday afternoons at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 or 3:30 PM.  2-3 teams meet once a week on Friday evenings at 6 or 7 PM or Saturday mornings at 8  or 9 AM.  

2-3 sessions will start on Friday, 11/1/24 and Sunday, 11/3/24 for K-1.  Both leagues will focus on fundamentals and skill development the first several weeks of the season.  After 1/1/25 sessions will be a half hour practice followed by a half hour game.  T-shirts and junior size basketballs are provided and included in the registration fee.  2-3 season will end on 3/8/25 and K-1 will end on 3/9/25.  

Please note that 3rd grade boys and girls can play in either the 2nd-3rd grade instructional league or boy's 3rd-4th grade intramurals or girls 3rd-6th grade intramurals.   3rd grade boys and girls new to basketball should play in the instructional league, while 3rd grade boys and girls who have played at least two years in the instructional league can play intramurals if ready.  Parents need to consider which option is best for their 3rd grade son or daughter before registering.
