Basketball Tournament
- What: St Martin de Porres First CYO Basketball Tournament

Championship Games |
- Format:
4 Teams in 6 Travel Divisions:
Boys: 5th Grade, 6th Grade, 7th Grade and 8th Grade
Girls: 5th-6th Grade, Girls 7th-8th Grade
- Number of Games
Minimum of three games over a weekend ... two games close in time on one day.
Top two teams in each division play a 4th game (championship game).
If ties, then fewest points allowed is the tie-breaker.
Further rules, game length, to be communicated in early December.
Dave Kotchie to schedule travel games around tournament games.
- Participation Awards:
T-shirts for all participants (from some sponsors)
Trophies for 1st and 2nd place teams.
Team Trophy for 1st Place that will rotate each year

- Concessions:
Professionally catered by Ed Kowalski, owner of
Lola's Catering and Cafe
at Our Lady of Lourdes High School and St. Martin de Porres. Marist TBD.
- Attendance Fee:
$1.00 per person over 5 years old (players and coaches excluded).

- Future Teams:
We want all Dutchess County teams to play regularly, so there will probably be some
rotation each year
- Future Tournaments:
The intent is to double the number of teams in 2010 with an East
of Hudson bracket and a West Hudson bracket, with the bracket winners
meeting in the championship game at Marist.
Additional gym time will be required to realize this vision.
