    Practice, tour of mid-town Manhattan churches, and Dinner.

    Referee Retreat and Dinner

    This clinic is run by Matt Grossman, Girls' Intramural Director & Certified High School Referee, will enable participates to referee boys 5-6 intramural games.

    Brewer Basketball Madness

    The first 100 fans get a free Brewer madness tshirt. Event highlights include a 3-point shooting contest, house team basketball competitions, men's and women's team introductions and a dunk contest. See: Brewer Basketball Madness Flyer for details.

    2016 Archdiocese of NY Men's Conference

    Includes Mass with Cardinal Dolan and Hall-of-Famer Mike Piazza. CYO will pay the $50.00 fee for up to 10 CYO men to attend.
    Location: Hilton Westchester, Rye Brook
    Cost: $50.00 fee (CYO will pay for up to 10 CYO men to attend.


NOVEMBER 2016

Sunday, November 6 - Noon

    New York Knicks vs. Utah Jazz at MSG Lounges
    Allan Houston will speak on faith and spiritual growth, 25 fan tunnel slots, and autographs from Knicks legend.

Saturday, November 12, 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

    3-Point Shooting Contest
    Note: NBA Style Format
    Each division will have 3 to 4 rounds, 12 to 8 to 4 to 2, with the highest point totals moving on. 5 shots each from 5 racks (25 in total); 1 minute, 30 seconds to complete. Each shot made counts as 1 point, except the last ball, the 'money' ball, which counts for 2 points.  Competition takes place simultaneously in both half courts.   Prizes will be given to 1st and 2and place finishers in each division plus they will also receive plaques with their name on it at the year-end awards ceremony.     This events takes about 2 hours to complete.
    Please arrive by 6:15 p.m. to warm-up so that we can start the event promptly at 6:30 PM. 

    Audience: 5th thru 12th Grade Boys and Girls
    Location: St. Martin Gym
    Note: This event is Free.

TBD (Possibly November 20); All Day

    Brooklyn Nets vs. Portland Trail Blazers - Barclays Center, Brooklyn

    7:30 a.m. - bus leaves St. Martin's.
    10 a.m. - meet in front of the Barclays Center
    10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - kids get to use the Barclays Center court for shooting lines and 5-on-5 games in each half court.
    2:30 - 3:30 p.m. - 50 kids get to serve a team captain, man hi-5 lines for the Nets, stand with the Nets and Trail Blazers players for the national anthem and participate in the t-shirt toss.
    3:30 - 6:00 p.m. - Game
    6:30 p.m. - bus departs from Barclays Center

    Super Bowl Sunday Mass
    Players are encouraged to wear their CYO uniforms for this special Mass dedicated to sportsmanship and the CYO spirit. Please seat yourselves to the far right of the church as you face the alter. Players will serve as collectors and bring up the gifts.

    Audience: All are invited to participate.

    Army Women's Event - West Point, NY

    Pre-, halftime, and post-game events, tour of West Point and Dinner.

Sunday, February 12 at 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.

    Hot Shots Contest
    All intramural and travel teams will have their team hot-shot contents during December and January. The top two from each team will be invited to participate in this event. Winners advance to county contest held on Friday, 2/24.

    Note: The instructional league will have their own contest. B3-4 contest will be held on a date TBD.

    A barbecue and open basketball (bring your own ball) will be held behind St. Martin's school. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy this nice social evening.

    Please feel free to bring desserts to share.

    Thanks to Knights of Columbus for grilling hot dogs, hamburgers and for providing drinks.

    All participants will receive a yearbook and trophy except travel players and intramural players grades 7-10 will receive yearbooks only.   The funds not spent on trophies will be donated to Charities of Dutchess County.
