Players are selected through tryouts and preference is given to "active" parishioners and students of St. Martin School.
The county rule is that a travel team may have up to 3 non-parishioners.
You must be a registered “active” parishioner of St. Martin for at least one year prior to September to have "active" parishioner status at travel try-outs.
All active parishioners on St. Martin travel teams must be registered for religious education.
You must live within the St. Martin parish boundary.
Exception: If you are an “active” parishioner of St. Martin, but live outside the parish boundary, then we must receive documentation from the parish within that boundary that you are not an “active” parishioner at that parish.
Boys and girls can only play travel or intramurals, but not both.
Travel teams practice two times per week.
Travel team members also pay an additional fee of $80 to cover the Archdiocesan fee and to pre-pay for travel tournaments, plus they must pay a uniform fee of about $75.
County games are played from November through early March on Saturdays and Sundays. Some away tournament games could be on weekday evenings.
Home travel games are at Todd Middle School for B6, B7, B8 and G78 teams on Saturday morning/afternoon and at St. Martin for B4 (no B4 travel team this season), B5, and G56 teams on Saturday evenings.
Travel tryouts will be as follows (additional tryouts as needed the week of 9/18):
Saturday, 9/17 (Note: Confirmation Retreat Until 1 PM)
